Helping an individual client heal from trauma can be intense work, but add the dynamics of an intimate partner relationship in the mix and it can become even more intense. Couples work specifically focused on the impact of of trauma within the relationship is a niche within itself.

  1. Thank you for sharing! I too have been interested in the role that trauma plays in relationship and am recently licensed in NY. I plan to look for job opportunities that could support me in couples training work based on your suggestion for getting started. I agree too that there aren’t many folks around providing this stem of treatment. I’m excited about getting started, thanks again for sharing.
